Welcome to the new directory of Puerto Rican and resident artists!
The Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico (MAPR) established the Artist Assitance Program (PROA) to promote the artistic production of professional Puerto Rican and foreign artists living in Puerto Rico. To achieve this purpose PROA developes services and creative projects as well as establishes alliances with interested institutions to encourage the artists' development. The services provided by PROA contribute to encourage the production of works of art and maximize the visibility of Puerto Rican and foreign artists living in Puerto Rico.
Program
PROA's purpose is to improve the quality of life, promote knowledge and diffusion of professional Puerto Rican artists and those of foreign descent who reside in the Island. Discover more about PROA’s mission and its objectives here.
