"Camarón Azul*" (2008)
Sculptor. Obtained a BFA with a major in Sculpture from the University of Puerto Rico In 1991. In 1987 he joined the workshop of sculptor Pablo Rubio, where he remained for 8 years as his main assistant. In 1993 he was granted the Artist in Residence Award from Escuela de Diseño Altos de Chavón in the Dominican Republic. His work has been shown in solo and collective exhibits in various cities, of which Santos Espíritus from 2001 at Museo de las Américas in San Juan, Puerto Rico, stands out. His creations form part of collections in museums and in public works in Puerto Rico and in other countries such as South Korea, France, Greece, Venezuela and Mexico. He is recognized by his numerous sculptures in public and urban spaces.
