Description

Biography

Multimedia visual artist, graphic designer, art teacher and essayist of contemporary art. He lives in Puerto Rico since 1983. Between 1974 and 1979, he studied Fine Arts at the University of Chile. In 1978 he joined Taller de Artes Visuales of Bellavista in Santiago, Chile. Currently works as a professor at Art Students League of San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has been recipient of scholarships such as Fundación Pacífico and Sociedad de Amigos del Arte en Chile. In 1992  he obtained grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Rockefeller Foundation. Adasme explores a variety of conceptual work such as installations, performances, digital graphics, visual poetry and mail art.
