Painter, videographer and photographer Leipzig / Berlin, Germany as part of the Leipzig International Art Program. He earned his BBA with a concentration in painting at Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Puerto in 2004 and his Master’s from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2008. During 2011 to 2012 he attended the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (HWK) Institute for Advanced Study in Delmenhorst, Germany and was a Resident Artist at AWIPEV Koldewey Arctic Research Base Station in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard, Norway. Recently he was part of the Leipzig International Art Program in Leipzig/ Berlin, Germany. His work has been exhibited in Puerto Rico, the US and Germany, where he has won awards. His work breaks the paradigm of creating an alternate present, in his paintings he creates documental fantasies, images of the past that can be seen as an ideal future and on the other hand, uses the documentary as an anchor to reality. Currently lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
